Re: Can't set the Hotkeys

What kind of keyboard do you have?
Have you checked for physical issues? Is the key or the contact behind it stuck?
Try replugging the USB cable of your keyboard.
Then try reinstalling the drives for it.

Just a few things you could try that require minimal effort! :)

Tried reinstalling DirectX?
It might have to do with a DX layer.

Re: Recording mic and mix in 2 separate files - WinXP

I agree. Upgrade to Windows 7. XP is horribly outdated and has a lot of security holes these days. You want to avoid Vista and 8, they're not optimized and the UI in both is horrible. Also, take a moment to read up on what the different versions offer. You might feel you need the extra functionality...

Re: pre-recording/buffering

I don't want to nag but this has been asked before. Have a search for it.
At first, Bandicam wasn't interested in adding this, but more and more requests are coming in about it, so they might change their mind.

Re: League of Legends HD Recording Settings?

If I set your video on 720p, the quality is good. It's exactly the same as the other video you mentioned. ;) In case you are wondering about the letterboxing (black borders), it is because you are running your game on a 4:3 resolution. You can only get widescreen footage if you use a widescreen reso...

You can see the green/red FPS numbers. Isn't it enough?

I agree, if you need to benchmark your drives, why not download free, open-source, dedicated software to do just that?

Re: Bandicam videos full screen on youtube?

Again, the problem is that 1920 × 1200 is a 16:10 resolution, where as Youtube uses the standard 16:9. These two ratios were in a race for being a standard for quite some time when the whole widescreen business started for consumer monitors and TVs. You either have to letterbox it (adding black bars...

Re: No 64-bit External Codec Support?

...but understandable since 64-bit systems are not as widely used by many people. What?! :D 64 bit systems have been standard for years now. From hardware to software. Motherboards, processors, graphics cards, UEFI, OSes (Windows since XP!). The only stuff 'lagging behind' are some applications. ;)...

Re: Lagging video after recording

Looks like an issue when playing the footage, not recording, at first sight. All the other codecs are fine? Reviewed Lagarith's settings? I have never used this codec, so I'm not sure what the right settings are. Do other computers get the same lag issue when playing the same file? What CPU, RAM and...

Hmm, Bandicam might have a problem with the java window.
Have you tried recording a rectangle on screen, to see if that works for you?

Re: blue screen of death

Hi kulem,

Because of the way you describe your problem, I urge you to test your RAM modules.
A case of faulty modules often has symptoms that BSODs/freezing/lagging only happens under a certain load. (When the system wants to specifically use the bad memory cells.)

Re: No 64-bit External Codec Support?

Hey, Not to be rude or anything, but it might be worthwhile looking into 64-bit codecs. These allow for more system resources to be used more efficiently and will give Bandicam more power whilst recording. ;) I know it basically means creating an entire new program from scratch to support 64 bits co...

Re: blue screen of death

How long as it been since you last updated your video drivers? Have you been keeping your system clean? There might be a driver issue. Also, take the time to do a memory test. You might have gotten a BSOD at that moment because your system tried to use a faulty memory cell on one of your RAM sticks....

The little information you give in this one obviously points to a problem with your PC, not with Bandicam.

Re: why does the fps drop while bandicam is recording

That is a very low end GFX card. The CPU isn't a whole lot better either.
Recording with screen capture software asks quite some resources.
If you really want to record, you might want to consider getting a PC that can actually run it fine.

Re: New Bandicam versions cause high CPU usage

When you have such an old rig, it's imperative you keep it well oiled.
Use programs like CCleaner and MyDefrag.

Anyways, screen capturing is a process heavy task.
With the right settings, I find Bandicam to be needing less resources than it's competitors.

Re: Minecraft Skipping frames

That graphics card is very low end. Not only does it not have a lot of computing power, it's on-board. That means that it lends space from your RAM for it's VRAM. If you really enjoy recording your work, you might consider getting a decent video card. Don't fall into any hypes, AMD or nVidia aren't ...
