The only option you're mentioning in your original post is what I always do to solve this issue. I'm not used to recording with Audacity.

One could accidentally hit the "Cancel record" hotkey and lose the entire footage. It's better to just stop the recording, find the file and delete it under your volition.

I tried to get version 3.4.0 from the downloads page, but I'm still getting the setup file for version 3.3.3, therefore not updating my Bandicam at all.

That function was unchecked the whole time.

I just restarted Bandicam and did a test recording without changing any settings, the microphone was no longer heard.
Really confused right now. I just recorded an hour and 40 minutes of now deleted footage under this bug.

I have the primary sound device set to the default sound device (which are the speakers) or set to the speakers directly. I'd like to be able to have Bandicam automatically start recording in Game Recording Mode, as soon as the game opens/starts. This could be a convenient way for the recorded video to begin playback.

I think you're asking this because your computer doesn't have a Camera application.

I have Windows XP Service Pack 3, and after installing version 2.3.3, anything I try to do (like moving desktop icons) while Bandicam is running lags my computer, and I can't record any of my games anymore.

Did you compress your file with a video editor? The video will be smaller, keeping the high quality.

That would be awesome. While recording a game with DirectX/OpenGL, I've always wondered how long I've been recording. I can only see that while recording in Rectangle on screen mode.

Sadly, none of that worked.

I used those codecs, and got the exact same result. I never used them in order to edit the video anyway, because it's already easy enough.
My editing software is VideoPad, which is very easy to use. Maybe this is the problem, but I hope not...
