Re: Using Bandicam with external codec

If I may pop in, the knowledgeable Dfactor is correct, you cannot use 'every' codec that is installed in your system (and some are Decoder-only, as well, which cannot be used for Recording). In the case of Avid's DNxHD, the little bit that I have read about it, it seems to 'prefer' MXF and MOV wrapp...

[+1] Optimization of H264(CPU) Codec Speed Increased

I just wanted to pop in with a Compliment! I hadn't used the built-in H264(CPU) codec for a while - but after testing it out in the most recent version [3.1.1 as of this posting] I noticed an increase in the speed/smoothness of larger-resolution recording (720p+) with the Balanced and Smaller Optimi...

Re: Can't play long footage of H264 - NVENC (VBR)

If I may pop back in, since you used the AVI container, you can try using Bandifix (built into Bandicam) on the AVI file/recording and see if it can Repair it for you :geek: Here is the location in the Windows 10 Start Menu, after installing Bandicam: Try Bandifix on AVI files to Repair them (shown ...

Re: Can't play long footage of H264 - NVENC (VBR)

Thanks for the quick response Zuzu, and yes I did read the recommendation on how to make new posts for support ;D Thanks for linking that other thread it provided some insight, seems that AVI has problems with files over 100GB but MP4 doesn't apparently. I tried converting the footage to MP4 with B...

[Suggestion] Settings Used For Recording, In Metadata

Just a quick Suggestion, to perhaps add the Settings used in Bandicam into the recorded file "Metadata" (the information in the file itself that can usually be seen with programs like MediaInfo and other similar utilities), which usually looks something like this (sample recording, made with the MPE...

Re: add a feature for noise reduction

If I may pop in on this, all I want to add is that you may be able to utilize Features such as Noise Reduction from within your Sound Adapter [source of Audio in your system], if it has it. Then, Bandicam will record whatever Features you Enable, as well ("Bandicam uses the sound system of Windows")...

Re: More Space For Recording?

If I may pop in, although the knowledgeable Zuzu_Typ is entirely correct, I have just one more addition: You can also try changing your recording settings. Although slightly confusing at first, in the Video Category, hit the Settings button and play with the various options in there. Lowering the Qu...

Re: Higher AAC Bitrate?

I've been searching and not yet found anybody asking this, why AAC for MP4 are limited only up to 192 kbps. Shouldn't at least, at the very least it goes up to 256, or even 320. I know above 192 AAC are to most indistinguishable and yes bandicam can export .WAV tracks. But it's just something that ...

Re: Playback Stuttering

If I may pop in with one additional idea, I ran into this in the past - and I realize this is just a 'shot in the dark', but I wonder if it might help you... At the time the similar thing happened to me, I was recording gameplay and everything seemed to be working ok. But, when I watched the videos,...

Re: how to add audio after video already recorded?

If I may pop in with a couple other ideas, The knowledgeable Zuzu_Typ is very correct  I only wish to add a few more ideas for Video Editors (one free, two non-free) that I use (off and on, at times, to this day): Avidemux Corel's VideoStudio CyberLink's PowerDirector Avidemux is completely...

[Suggestion] Add Different Audio Track For A Video

I realize you guys are very busy with Bandicut already, I want to merely post a Suggestion of a possible capability for Bandicut: The ability to use a different Audio Track, put together with the Video Track from a different source (eg. Video from one clip but using the Audio from another file). Thi...

Re: Cannot save Size Preset when at (0,0)

If I may pop in on this, (and I am sorry to reply after Bandicam has answered, heh) - but I have a couple of ideas: 1) One thing you could try, if the pull-down menu (little triangle to click on) is off the screen, is to Right-Click the black 'recording window' bar - you can actually click anywhere ...

Sorry to derail the thread a bit, Dragonul It's ok :)) Thanks, what a great attitude :) Well, I did some testing and found that I could do it in some games in Windows 10, but none in Windows 8.1... A few examples: Unigine Valley Benchmark = Afterburner OnScreen Display NOT recordable with Bandicam ...

[Suggestion] Transparency of FPS Overlay/Indicator

I do not know how difficult it would be, I know you guys already have a big workload, but I just wanted to suggest the idea of transparency to the FPS Overlay (making the numbers see-through). I did a quick Search here and didn't see it suggested yet... Being able to turn it off works fine, it was j...

Re: Bandicam and MSI Afterburner

Hiya Snoop, great advice of streamlining the process - I thought of this too - but I figured he wanted the extra codecs that Bandicam has that Afterburner doesn't, or the higher reliability of Bandicam. For instance, it seems that Afterburner has been getting 'buggy' of late... :( It used to be my ...

THANK YOU!!! If it is not too much trouble, may I ask what worked for you? Were you able to record with sound or no sound? Were you able to record with other codecs, or just H264cpu ? Just curious, so that I can tell others what happens to other people, when they ask in the future, too

I have here such problem. When I start to shoot video, it just does not remove. The brakes on 161 KB, or 4 KB or 1.1 KB and all. When you open the recorded videos, just not play. Help, what to do?
