Re: Recorded video choppy

Hello. I dont have troubles recording videos and playing the game in the same time (for example it runs in 60 FPS, when i hit record, it drops to 40-50). But, when i play the recorded video - it runs choppy somewhere around 10-15 fps. Is there any reason for this? My format settings are FPS 30 Qual...

Re: Bandicam slow scrubbing

If I may pop in on this, the amount of time a video editing program spends 'searching' for the next Keyframe is dependent on the length of the GOP (Group Of Pictures). By Default, H.264/AVC usually has 250, for example. FRAPS is a lightly-compressed Intra-frame Codec, which means that every frame is...

- Windows 8 - Razer Kraken Chroma (headset) - Bandicam 2.4.1.903 (registered) When I record game footage (with headset plugged in), with primary sound device being WASAPI, the audio is extremely low when I look at the video. With the same settings (headset NOT plugged in), the game audio seems to r...

I have 8GB RAM, 2 GTX 550ti's and a quadcore cpu When I had 8GB RAM, 2 GTX 560 Ti's and a Hexcore CPU, I found that running games at 1600x900 was a good balance of resolution quality/speed to record at. I now have more RAM, an eight-core CPU and an R9 GPU; but at the time, that was the resolution I...

Re: "Please click the recording target window" ????

If I may pop in with an attempt to help define it, the Target is what you want to record (a game or a browser Window, etc) and Bandicam can 'hook onto' that Target when you click on it, and it can record what it is displaying. As one example, if Bandicam is running in "Game Recording Mode", it is re...

Re: Weird Frame Rate

If I may pop in, I was going to say what Tymorafarr already said - he is right, a system has to be able to maintain 60fps or more while playing and recording , to obtain 60fps framerate in the recording itself - that means, without recording, the game should have 'higher than 60fps', if possible. If...

Re: optimal settings

If I can pop in on this, I wanted to come back to this post and say that "The Best Settings" are very 'Subjective', which means, everyone has their own version of configuration and settings that they like to use most of the time - and that's not a bad thing 8-) What I would like to suggest, is tryin...

Re: Recording problem Mono->Stereo

If I may pop in with one quick suggestion, you can also keep the Microphone Audio Track as is and convert the Stereo 'Microphone' Track into Monaural manually, using an Audio Editing Application (eg. Sony's Sound Forge Audio Studio or Audacity, which is Open Source) before editing.

Re: Stuttering Every 2 Seconds ?

We have no idea at the moment. 1. Do you have the issue when you disable your microphone? 2. If you have the problem with the Screen Recording Mode, uncheck the "Use enhanced capture method (faster, Windows 8 or above)" option, and try it again. We will also try to reproduce the problem in Windows ...

Re: Stuttering Every 2 Seconds ?

Hi GameTipsAndMore Blog, I tried un-installing and re-installing Bandicam and a couple of older versions, as well. Do you have the stuttering issue with Bandicam 2.3.1? Do you have the stuttering issue when you chose the "Use VFR" option (instead of "Prefer CFR")? Thanks for your reply, After furth...

Re: Recorded Video is too dark

Unfortunately, we couldn't find a good solution for the game issue. We will re-consider it in the future. If I can pop back in with a Suggestion, perhaps include somewhere an option for the user to choose what Colorspace they record in (bt.709/601/ "Full Range", etc) - although I realize this may b...

Stuttering Every 2 Seconds ?

I have run into an odd problem lately, where Bandicam seems to 'freeze' for a couple of frames, about every 2 seconds or so. It does not seem to matter what codec I use (I thought perhaps it was related to AMDAPP, but it occurs even with Xvid or MJPEG with PCM audio). It also occurs no matter what f...

Re: Recorded Video is too dark

If I may pop in, I find this issue interesting, as I actually have the opposite problem, but only with MJPEG (sorry to name a competitor, but MSI Afterburner seems to have darker/truer colours when using MJPEG, whereas Bandicam's MJPEG seems to be a bit 'washed out'). I quickly made an example compa...

Re: Recorded AVI gets out of sync over time

If I can pop in, although I don't have this problem, I do know of a way to correct the audio being out of sync with the video - I had to figure out how to do it manually in the past when it happened once or twice (this is a manual way of correcting it): In whatever video editing application you are ...

Bandisoft will be here soon to answer your question 'Officially'; but if I may pop in while I am here, the license they use seems to be "X-number of PCs Under Your Ownership at one time". Sure, they can put in settings for Deblocking, Motion Estimation and Partition configuration and analysis options; but it may be too overwhelming for many. If you really wan...
