Re: question about making a purchase and my future

Yeah, you get a lifetime license. You can buy new PCs, reinstall OS and it will still work. 1-PC only means that you can't have it installed on 2 PCs at the same time.

Re: Dropped frames

Hm, that's even worse than the issue I had.
The choppiness was over time and could appear for few minutes and then disappear. Not that I could make it go choppy by my own will. :/

Re: changing filesize

The filesize depends on what is happening on the screen. If it's a still image or there's nothing going on then you'll have a small filesize. If you'll play... let's say a racing game then you'll have a significantly higher filesize. You can: a) Reduce the video quality (more pixelated, less size) b...

Re: Record in 30 FPS play in 100+ FPS

Check your videocard's control panel. Do you have some forced settings such as Anti-Aliasing or Anisotropic Filtering? I've discovered that sometimes Bandicam has compatibility issues (framerate drops to below adequate). If you're having an Nvidia card try selecting "Let the 3D application deci...

Knight Rider wrote:If I'm recording, GTA crashes, and I start it up again, am I able to start recording again, or will I have to stop the recording using the button, and then restart again?

You'll have to stop it (and fix it later) as Bandicam will be hooked on the previous (crashed) target.

Re: Recording and recording window/ game crashes

Even if it crashes you can stop it with the rectangle button. You'll probably get an error, but you can still recover the video file with Bandifix. Open bdfix.exe, point out the broken file and wait.

Re: Bandicam can't see x264 codec!!??

Delete your current codecs and install the latest K-Lite Codec Pack (Mega), lots of stuff preset. (all this while Bandicam is closed)
See if it works.

Re: The cause of dropped frames (2 bugs)

About "Bug 1". You're recording game running @ 46fps to 30fps? If so there's no miracle that it's choppy. Bandicam will usually skip anything above the limit, meaning you're skipping 14 frames and that's why there's choppy feel to it. If you want to capture 46fps then you have to change th...

Not supported. You can try using a 3rd party gamepad-to-keyboard software such as Xpadder and bind a button to a keyboard key.

Re: Dropped frames

Freeman and Dfactor, if you are using SLI, try recording with it disabled (and you can now even choose to put the recording onto the second GPU if using H.264/CUDA/etc in Bandicam) and see if that helps your video recording issue like it did in this case. No, I'm not using SLI. I'm forcing some AA ...

You don't need to buy another key. You download the free version and register it again with the same key (the one you have right now).

Re: Dropped frames

I don't think it's a HDD activity issue. As (as an example) there are no problems when capturing with FRAPS (which outputs gigantic files).

Re: Dropped frames

No. The game runs fine. That's the problem. However, the captured video files at some points has low framerate. Sometimes happens when I capture 20-30 minute long videos. It's not easy to recreate, but it happens. I have a speculation. Could be related to hard drive fragmentation. In this case - fre...

Re: Dropped frames

I can actually say that I had these kind of problems. I was capturing Tomb Raider 3 and from time to time the video's framerate goes choppy for quite a while. Note that the game is running at solid 30 and there's more than enough CPU/GPU juice to handle this. Pretty sure that the codec doesn't even ...

Re: Audio out of sync

Eh, sure. You can cut/merge fragments and quickly glue them together. Of course, you can import external audio file (.wav , etc) but make sure the durations are correct. As an example I take multiple raws, cut out the needed footage, sort everything in order (giving videos names like filename01, fil...

Re: Audio out of sync

Audio desync has always been there and still quite problematic. I've used FRAPS, I use Bandicam and they both can have desync issues. Depends on the game and sometimes on the codec. I don't edit my videos that often, I usually convert raws and merge them. Of course, raws themselves or upon merging s...

Re: Bandicam freezes Win7 when opening second time

Doubt that software "prefers" any card. It works on both G210 and GTX660 for me. Probably could even work with integrated.
