Re: recording resolution, game resolution, monitor resolutio

Short answer: you'll have to upscale (set it to 1920x1080p) in your video editing software.

Going to +1 this as I've also had a moment when I needed this feature as the visual mouse clicks don't work when the mouse cursor is hidden.

'm not OP, and neither forget anything. The first line was directed towards your "Bandicam saves into very small MP4 files, so its MP4 codec settings are optimized for faster encoding speed and small file size on a low end PC". The rest is directed towards OP. And to OP again. You already...

Re: Framerate Mismatch on Desktop Recording

Did you try to play with MP4 format options? Bandicam saves into very small MP4 files, so its MP4 codec settings are optimized for faster encoding speed and small file size on a low end PC. It does provide some options though in MP4 output settings you can change. The codec may analyze input qualit...

Re: Thinking about buying this

1. Full support.
2. Entirely up to you. Different codecs, resolutions, framerates, bitrates, keyframes. Everything can be customized.
3. "Once you purchase the program, there is a lifetime guarantee on the license as long as you follow the license policy."
4. That's a silly question. Yes.

Does your VirtualDub have Direct3D overlay enabled?
Options>Preferences>Display
It works for playback, not sure about live streams.

Slightly irrelevant to the topic, but... why would you "upgrade" to a weaker card?

Re: Just a quickie

You can, either way. If the video player is using DirectX/OpenGL technologies to display the stream and you see the framerate counter then you'll be able to capture it directly. Otherwise you can always switch to rectangle on screen mode and it will capture anything on your screen. You can download ...

Try MediaInfo.
Also, the problem is on the editing / testing software's side rather than Bandicam's.

Re: New settings for 60fps videos to youtube? CS:GO?

If the size doesn't matter to you then you can stick to it, as you're going to edit and reconvert it anyway.

Roi wrote:@Edit: I searched on the Internet and I assume that if I am using h264 than i need mp4.

If you have the newest Bandicam version then you can change the container at any time (.avi or .mp4).
So your software didn't accept H.264 with 1 keyframe interval? Then you should stick to Motion Jpeg.

Re: New settings for 60fps videos to youtube? CS:GO?

Just because it has a settings screen. Optimal settings are VBR (and CPU+GPU if such option exists). The size/quality depends on the quality and keyframes. The lower the keyframe interval the higher the size, most editing software has problems processing a file that has a keyframe interval above 1. ...

Re: Same settings, different size

Generally, it's better if your capture framerate is the same as display one. Meaning game is running 60 and you capture at 60. Now that YouTube supports 720p/1080p videos there's no reason to keep uploading 60fps games in 30fps (unless you're aiming at 1440p or 2160p). If you're using hardware accel...

Re: New settings for 60fps videos to youtube? CS:GO?

If you're planning to upload to YouTube then you can simply change the capture framerate to 60. The video bitrate for both 1080p and 1080p60 is ~8Mbps. Uploading at higher bitrates will have a bit better image quality, but not by much. Considering you're dropping your files into a video editor then ...

Re: New settings for 60fps videos to youtube? CS:GO?

Tell me what happens if I use 30 fps recorded videos and then in movie studio platinium i set project properties as 60 fps? The video editing will simple duplicated existing 30 frames and bloat them into 60. While it will say 1080p60 on YouTube it will still look like 30. There's absolutely no poin...

Re: Same settings, different size

The file size / bitrate depends on the stuff what's happening on the screen.
As an example you'll have higher size in a racing game because the screen / camera moves fast, a lot of details are being captured.

The enhanced capture doesn't affect the file size.

Re: Upload to Youtube is extremely slow.

Your upload time entirely depends on the filesize and your internet upload speed. How big is the file and what's your upload speed? Changing the container to .mp4 won't decrease the size. If you think that the filesize is too large then you can either change the settings of your current codec or you...

Re: Recording on an external hdd?

^Completely false. An external drive will have the same performance as an internal one unless you're bottlenecking it on purpose. An external connected through USB3 can easily reach 120MBps read/write. And to answer OP's question. You don't necessarily need a second or external hard drive unless the...
