I have in fact recorded Black Ops 2 with Bandicam, and I haven't gotten this issue. Might be your sound card/Windows settings.

Download and install Bandicam, after installing open up Bandicam and go to the 'About' tab. Click 'Register'. You also didn't show all processes running, so there could very well be more He did, scroll down on the picture and notice that the "Image name" and such shows up twice. Also, normally "SYSTEM" processes aren't shown unless you check "Show processes from all users", he...

Have you made sure that the mic is actually "recording" audio at all? Go into Audacity and check if anything comes out, if not. Check your Windows sounds, right-click on the sound icon in the bottom-right corner and click "Recording devices", right-click again on your microphone ...

For paid, I recommend getting Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum (It's basically like Sony Vegas Pro, just cheaper). I love that, and I find it easy to use.

For free, VideoPad Video Editor works, but as with almost every free software, it's sort of annoying at times.

Have you attempted to enable "Save audio tracks while recording (.wav)", import the audio created as a .wav file and then see if the audio is still muffled. Other than that, I believe it might be a codec problem with Camtasia.
