Bandicam Demo Closes Minecaft

Sun Jul 24, 2011 5:47 pm

Hello,

I am intrested to buy bandicam, and feel its better than fraps. but whenever i try to record minecraft, it just crashes. (minecraft crashes).

Ive tried everything, the rectangle on screen works, but i want to use the window option.
Is this (bug?) only in the demo? it will decide wether i buy the full version or not.

Thanks :D

Hello,

This is Zun from Bandicam

Bandicam had a Minecraft recording bug in 64-bit OS, and we fixed it.
Please, try the latest version of Bandicam from http://www.bandicam.com/downloads/

If you still have the have the problem, please reply with the following information.
- Windows version: Windows XP, Windows Vista(32/64), Windows 7(32/64)
- Minecraft version: official version?
- If you use Skype, please try not to use it while recording.
- Can you see the green-colored number (FPS) on the upper left side.?
- If you can see the green-colored number (FPS), change the recording shortcut key.

If you mind posting your information, you can send an email at bandicam@bandisoft.com

Thank you for using Bandicam

Best Regards,
Zun

1. To reduce the recording lag, reduce the FPS and video quality of Bandicam
See https://www.bandicam.com/faqs/how_to_re ... recording/

2. Do you mind if I ask your system specification? (Optional)
- CPU:
- RAM:
- Windows version:
- Graphic card:
As you know, Minecrat doesn't require high performance computer.
If Bandicam has a lag problem with Minecraft, we want to fix it. :D

Thanks, i tried your method and for the target window option all it did was increase the little red recording number from the previous 2 to 4 or 5, a slight help but too laggy, then i tried the rectangle on screen again and it made a huge diffrence, almost no lag! (on both multiplayer and single player) however the target window still isnt good.(again on both single and multiplayer)

sure i dont mind:
- CPU: Intel core i3 processor, i beleive its dual but im not sure.
- RAM: 4gb (2x2gb chips) this can be upgraded to a maximum of 8gb which i have been looking into.
- Windows version: Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit
- Graphic card: i genuinely dont know, but i do have directx 11 if thats any help?

Sorry im a bit of a computer noob! if you need anymore infomation just ask :)
Your right minecraft dosent require a to good a computer, but it can use a lot of cpu at times! expecially multiplayer!

Thanks for you time and help so far! also im having trouble with recording voice as well, it picks up my voice, but very very quietly, and somehow picks up my freinds voice from skype very well? i tried one of your walkthroughs to fix this on the site, but then my speakers play my voice as well, and this is annoying and creats echo, and a noise that continusly gets louder!? thanks :D

Hello SilentRabbit,

1. About the Minecraft lagging
We haven't found a solution yet.
We think it's a problem between DirectX/OpenGL recording and Minecraft.
Other DirectX/OpenGL recording programs may have the same problem.

2. About the noise, echo..
Reduce the microphone volume, and uncheck "Listen to this device" in microphone setting to remove noise/echo.
