Request: Mono option for secondary audio recording

Fri May 24, 2013 10:26 pm

I have a problem with my setup to record Let's Plays with Bandicam.
I am using a Rode M3 microphone with the Roland Quad-Capture Audio-Interface to record my voice for the screen capturing. Beacuse the microphone is mono and connected to only the left plug of the interface Bandicam records (as the secondary channel) only the left channel.
Unfortunately neither the audio interface, nor the driver, nor bandicam has the option to choose mono channel.
My current setup uses a special software for voice morphing as a virtual audio device to convert the microphone signal into a mono one. But his causes a lag.
The option to set mono audio for the whole screen capture is not a good idea, although bandicam has this option.

So i would like request the option to set the secondary audio (voice) recording to mono and leave the primary audio (game) in stereo.

I would appreciate any answer to my request.

Hi,
Because the microphone is mono and connected to only the left plug of the interface Bandicam records (as the secondary channel) only the left channel.
It might be a problem with the microphone setting.
You may contact the manufacture of your microphone.
