Bandicam Audio Problem

Fri Sep 20, 2013 9:48 am

Hey guys, I'm new here, but a paying owner of Bandicam and I have some issues with the audio settings.

I would like to record gameplay without recording chat. Now I have my sound settings set to record Win8 WASAPI, and that records fine. I use Razer Comms for voice chat while playing and no matter what I do, my chat gets recorded as well. I can't seem to figure out how to be able to record just game audio or just chat. Any thoughts?

You can't.

Win8 WASAPI is basically "What your hear", so it will record any sound played on your PC. Unless you get another audio card and set Razer Comms to use that audio card instead, that causes issues still though.

There's nothing Bandicam can do, due to how Microsoft has set up Windows' sound control.

Ugh. I had a feeling. Would you know anything about this Virtual Audio Cable thing? A few buddies mentioned using it but not with Bandicam.

I have tried it, but haven't found any good use of it with Bandicam. I'm sorry, but I don't know how that would help you.
