Software Crashes with Bandicam

Sun Sep 18, 2011 8:06 pm

I tried many time with several modes to set perfectly Bandicam, but nonetheless all softwares are continuing to crash if i set as target: DirectX/OpenGL window. I made all configuration posted in this forum, like disabling the record function of the microphone, like setting PCM instead of MPEG-1 and other things. All the games crash and also the software (like Firefox). I changed also the hotkey to record, but nothing. Now i'm going crazy, and i think that there is some conflicts between programmes. I say that i've installed FRAPS but it's terminated when i have to use Bandicam, i'm keeping open in the tray bar: Steam, Nvidia Control, Avast! Antivirus, TuneUp 2011 and SoundMax Control... are they make conflicts with Bandicam? Help me pls :D

Hello,

1. Do you have the problem with "Rectangle on a screen" mode of Bandicam?

2. Can you record the target with Fraps?

3. Uncheck "Two Sound Mixing" option, and tell me your result.

4-1. What are you trying to record? - Skype? Steam game? minecraft? or "Minecraft + Skype"?...

4-2. Can you record other games with DirectX/OpenGL mode?

5. When do you have the problem? - Starting Bandicam or clicking "Record" button of Bandicam?

Sorry for the many questions.

If you still have the problem, please send screenshots including "Error message", "Video -> Sound Settings", and "Video -> Format Settings" window.

Best Regards,
Bandisoft

don't worry, now i resolved the issue... but NOW when i try to record with also the microphone, the result is perfect... indeed if i play the video on WMP 11, it works good... but when i load the video to edit in Pinnacle or Virtual Dub, there is a big errore, where there isn't the secondary sound(or the microphone)... strange, indeed as i said i listen all file audio in WMP 11... so i tried to play the footage also in Media Player classic, but NOTHING... it's as if it did not recognize the second structure of sound... and indeed in VirtualDub i got this error.

Code: Select all

[!] AVI: Stream 1 (audio) has a non-zero start position of 720 samples (+30
ms). VirtualDub does not currently support a non-zero start time and the
stream will be interpreted as starting from zero.
Now i have no idea to make!

Hello,

Many applications don't support 2 sounds.

Please check "Two Sound Mixing" function of Bandicam.
This option will allow you to make "2 sounds" as "1 sound"

If you used "PCM" audio when you recorded the game, try Sony Vegas
You can merge the recorded audio into one audio track.

If you used "MPEG-1" audio when you recorded the game, you have to google other converting software.

Hello,

How about re-recording the video with Bandicam?

1. Play your video through the Windows Media Player

2. Record the Video again with Bandicam.
