feature request: save audio to separate audio files

Background:
thanks to a couple of bugs being fixed for me i've had chance to think about where my biggest drains on time are with my workflow. Without a doubt the largest time drain for me when editing bandicam footage is waiting for my video editor of choice, sony vegas, to create peak files for the audio..

yet, if i manually demux the audio from the video, it's much quicker. I suspect because the video files can be 100gb or more in size and it's scanning that file for the audio tracks.

Feature Request:
give the option to save the audio streams to separate audio files. e.g. audio1.wav, audio2.wav
(I'm capturing PCM audio at the moment)

Hello sheppo,

Thank you for suggesting a good idea again.

We made a note to develop your suggestion.
However, your idea is not urgent and it will take a (long) time to develop

Have a good day!

Best Regards,
Bandicam

How do record only the sound of a video?

How do I find the wav files when I record a video?

If I record a video I can separate the sound from the video correct? I can take the wav file and use it elsewhere correct?

These may be dumb newbie questions but I really don't know how to do this and would appreciate help.

1. I'll get to that on #3

2. The .wav files are located in the same folder as the video recorded.

3. Yes, you can use the .wav files as just sound files. As for your first question, this can also be used just to record the audio, though you still need at least a 1x1 area to record with the "Rectangle on screen" mode for the video. Bandicam is a video recorder, so it does not have the feature to record only audio.
