I'm curious to know if you are overriding your video player settings on your gfx card?
Are you using AMD or nVidia?
Hey thanks for pointing this out because I'm really not that good with computers so I don't kinda understand what you mean by overriding video player settings on gfx card
By the way I'm using nVidia's gfx card.
I honestly think that this settings thing you are talking about is the cause for my dark videos. But then the other side.. how can I change those "video player settings" on my graphic card to make bandicam record the games as I see them.
Thanks in advance buddy!!
OK and Hi
So nVidia that's good because I'm very familiar with nVidia as I use them too.
Right click on empty space on your desktop and you should see
[nVidia Control Panel] as an option, then highlight it and left click to launch. Once open, on the
left panel, below 'Select a Task' you should see at the very bottom a
sub-heading 'Video'. Below Video there will be
two options. Top option is
[Adjust video color settings] for now
select this and on the
right pane there should be an adjustment option as follows;
Probably numbered 2. How do you make color adjustments? Here you probably currently have the 'Radio Button' With the video player settings selected in blue. Below this you will see another
'Radio Button' option
[With the NVIDIA settings]. Click this button so it uses nVidia's color settings instead.
Important make sure you
click [Apply] at the bottom of the panel
to make it take effect.
There are other options which I can go through with you but
for now leave everything at default, close nVidia Control Panel and view your troublesome videos and let me know if this sorts things immediately then I'll explain what the other settings do
[edit] If you have more than one monitor, make sure you have the correct display selected that will be
1. Select the display you would like to change. nVidia can have different profiles for each monitor
Also assuming we have got things sorted regarding darkness values, it might be an idea to let me know what Gfx card you have for the next step/s
