Bandicam crashes when using Quick Sync

Fri Nov 07, 2014 8:13 am

Hi there

Running Bandicam 2.1.0.708 on a 64-bit Windows 8.1 machine (Portege Z10t) with an intel i5-3439Y. Whenever I attempt to record a video using Intel Quick Sync, it starts recording fine, but when I hit stop, Bandicam freezes and has to be forcibly closed. The video it leaves behind is corrupted. Recording using other codecs seems to be fine.

I've tried reinstalling using installers from different mirrors, etc. but to no avail.

Any ideas?

Hello!

Go to https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx, download/install the latest "Intel® HD Graphics" driver for your Intel CPU, and try it again.

Thanks. I couldn't do this, because I have a manufacturer-modified graphics driver, but rolling back the driver to an older version fixed it. FYI in case this ever comes up again, the working driver is 10.18.10.3282, the one that doesn't work is 10.18.10.3308
