Bandicam not recording WOW

Thu Nov 10, 2011 2:27 pm

I'm not able to record WOW using DIRECTX/OPENGL Window. When I press F12 or the Record button it hangs up my WOW for a few seconds but doesn't record. When I use Rectangle on screen I'm able to record the game with no problems. So I'm wondering what is going on when i choose directX/OpenGL option that is not allowing me from recording.

Specs

AMD 1100T - 4.0ghz
ATI Radeon HD 6970 2gb. I have the most current drivers installed.

Hello justchillin,

I have tried WOW, but I couldn't find any problem.

1. Download the latest version of Bandicam.
It will improve the recording stability.

2. It can be a conflicting problem with an anti-virus program
Turn off your anti-virus program, and try again.

3. Turn off other software including Skype or sound recording program, and try again.

4. If you still have the problem, please give us more information
1) Do you use Windows XP/7/Vista?
2) How long can you see the green FPS numbers?
3) How long can you see the red FPS numbers?

1 - I have the most updated bandicam

2 - I turned off my anti-virus software.

3 - Don't have any running

4 - Windows 7(64-bit)
FPS numbers are always green
They never turn red.

Anything else you would like me to try. When I press Record or F12 when using DirectX it just hangs up WOW for a couple of secs and then it runs normally. But the FPS numbers never turn red they always stay green

Hello,

1. Start Bandicam before the WOW
Bandicam can provide good FPS recognition when it is run "before the target program".

2. Change the recording shortcut key from "F12" to "another key".
=> Do you still can't see the "red" FPS numbers?

3. I think you're playing WOW with DirectX11 mode, and Bandicam failed to record WOW.
=> Click "Advanced" button under the General tab of Bandicam, and then uncheck "DirectX 10" and "DirectX 11"
Image
=> Can you see the "green or red" FPS numbers?

4. Start WOW with DirectX 9 mode, and start WOW with DirectX 11 mode.
See http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,8035 ... /Practice/
=> Can you see the "green or red" FPS numbers?

5. Which Anti-virus program do you use? AVAST? Norton 360?
