Bandicam Forum

Just a suggestion for Bandicam, the option (checkmark/option/menu) for 'Permanent Hooking' of a DirectX/OpenGL Application/Game.

As an example, if one has started a game, is recording the gameplay with Bandicam - but they need to temporarily ALT+TAB (Task Switching) to another application, then return to the game - as it seems to work now (Bandicam 2.1.2.740 - 12/22/2014) the 'focus' of the DirectX/OpenGL program is lost; and Bandicam stops recording.

My suggestion (I did a quick Search here but didn't find it) is an option to make Bandicam 'stick' to the game being recorded, and even if Task Switching occurs, for the recording to continue. If this is already implemented in Bandicam, I apologize, I haven't found it yet

I wanted to say that I just tested this feature in Windowed Mode and it does work, by keeping the Recording going, even if the Windowed game/app loses focus - nice!
My Suggestion still remains for Full Screen Mode then, but I wanted to mention this here, just to let others know, in case they wanted to 'constantly record' and still Multitask - it's possible in Windowed Mode with Bandicam

YAY!!!

Yes ! It would be great for recording games like Guild Wars, which cuts the recording to each city charging. Registration is cut due to the black screen as the loading causes (changing resolution may be ???)
