How do you click the recording target window?

Just purchased Bandicam. During the trial period I was using the rectangle capture mode because I couldn't get the DirectX/Open GL mode to work. Now that I own the software, I'd like to try that mode. This is with Windows 7 64-bit.

In the DirectX/OpenGL mode, it says "Please click the recording target window". In the on-line tutorial on this website, it shows simply clicking the desired minimized icon in the tray at the bottom of the screen. When I do that, it just un-minimizes the window and makes it the active window, which is the normal Windows response to clicking on a minimized program in the tray. If I go back to Bandicam, it still says to click the recording target window, and the record button is grayed out, waiting for me to select a target window.

What are the steps to select a target window? In the tutorial it looked simple, but that isn't working for me. And if it matters, I want to capture the full 1920x1080 screen. Thanks.

Hello!

What are you trying to record?

This 'DirectX/OpenGL window' mode can record the streaming videos that run on DirectX (Or OpenGL), such as various 2D/3D games (World of Warcraft, Minecraft, RuneScape, Aion, StarCraft 2, Maplestory, Guild Wars 2...), internet TV streaming videos, iTunes, Windows Media Player, HDTV capture card.

You can't use the 'DirectX/OpenGL window' mode for recording your computer screen.

>>What are you trying to record?<<

I was trying to record a live on-line webinar (via the Chrome Browser) that I had to leave home before it ended, so I wanted to record the end of it.

>>You can't use the 'DirectX/OpenGL window' mode for recording your computer screen.<<

That would explain it then. Before posting my question, I had found the paragraph you quoted about what is included in DirectX/OpenGL recording, but thought maybe "internet TV streaming videos" might include things like a webinar streamed via an internet web browser. Sounds like it doesn't.

Thanks for clarifying.
