Bandicam crashes upon recording

Wed Sep 16, 2015 7:15 pm

The most information I can give you is the event from the event log, my system specs, and some information regarding what I have tried.

Things to rule out:
1Already tried most codecs under the avi, not MP4 yet.
2Disabled all antivirus I'm aware of, Windows firewall, windows defender, webroot, and malware-bytes (not that malware-bytes has active protection but you know why not)
3Last time I updated my graphics drivers was a few days ago (seperate problem I was trying to rule out)
4 Other programs, to my knowledge I have removed most WINDOWS, not necessarily programs, I have yet to go into task manager and disable base windows systems. Yeh..... that might turn out horribly. These programs include all my browsers, skype, office, and all games.
5 By the note of the last comment, this means I was using the fullscreen recording mode, this was after I tried the video game mode and failed.

Now for the technical stuff:

not to open a new topic - a similar problem...
this new version 2.3.2 does not work on (new) Windows 10 (build 10537-x64)
crash immediately after screen record starts :

Image

exactly the same symptoms as already written colleague @Alex Govoruha http://www.bandicam.com/how-to/screen-recorder/
I tried it all...and more...
advanced uninstallation - clean install (as well update the previous version),cleaning, restart etc....crash,crash and crash...
interesting that the previous 2.3.1 version works perfectly on Win 10 (and as a clean installation) as well update (installation over 2.3.2 version) - some errors occur during installation :

but after restarting works well,greeting...

Yeh it may be the same error message but I have a feeling it's for a completely different reason. The message we both got was too general. I will say this though I recently ran a SFC and well, it "repaired" several files. I was hoping that would fix it after a nice restart but no. I also updated my graphics driver again just in case the driver itself was corrupted, restarted and no cigar.

Currently looking into other solutions and trying to figure out why a system file would be causing an error with bandicam. It's possible it's a virus that SFC, malwarebytes, and webroot combined cannot find, however unlikely, it is still possible. So far though it has ONLY affected bandicam. To my knowledge everything else works fine.

But yeh hoping someone from bandisoft will reply. It seems though that your problem was resolved, "but after restarting works well" so not sure about your logic as to your reply. If you still are having trouble feel free to create your own thread, as it is most likely a completely different problem. I wish you luck Mr. Unpronounceable Name. (yeh not even gonna try that one)
