I have a friend that whose family member installed bandicam to spy on him. He was in google chat and they recorded the chat session. Can Bandicam record all emails sent, read? What all can it record and not record? Can it record all typed information? My friend is afraid to even send me an email from yahoo or even safemail because afraid of being accused of doing something wrong... (He has done nothing wrong) Just asking question on Bandicam's capabilities.
Thanks

It basically records everything on the screen: chat window, viewed email, typed in email, etc... but not encrypted stuff like password (except when using on-screen keyboard). If your friend is being spied by Bandicam, just avoid typing out any personal information and he'd be fine.

Is there any way to avoid being spied on recorded emails? Is there a way to disable this function? It records everything?

If Bandicam is launched and is capturing an entire screen then it will capture everything that is going on on the screen same way you see things.
Most apps and websites use asterisks to hide passwords, so at least those won't be visible.

Hello!

Bandicam can record everything on your computer screen.
However, the computer owner will recognize if Bandicam is recording or not because Bandicam always shows the recording status bar like below:
