How would you record this...?

So "Would you rather" looks fun and my viewers have asked me to put up a video of em discussing my answers/questions BUT if you crap the window it changes the proportions.

And here is an example of someone elses recording and I want to know how to do this to cut out the clutter/browser window without changing the proportions. Maybe this is a question for my video editing software forums.
