MagicYUV codec problems

So, apparently, when I specify MagicYUV, Full Size, and 60 FPS the resulting video becomes corrupted after a certain period of time. This is was during Device Recording, and happens even though the formats are supported. Though, it seems like it would happen in either of the other modes.

MPC-HC generated this error log about it, when trying to render the file. It seems there are improper frames? No program can render the file, regardless.

Also, and while this may not be related... But why does Bandicam always suggest YV12 to MagicYUV, even when the item you are recording is in a different colour space?

Hello!

How long did you record for?
Is it possible for you to send the corrupted video file to bandicam@bandisoft.com?
why does Bandicam always suggest YV12 to MagicYUV, even when the item you are recording is in a different colour space?
We've fixed the YV12 issue you mentioned.
We will release the fixed version in Bandicam 3.0.4.
Thank you for letting us know.

It seems to happen after I record for about 35~ minutes? I'm not sure if it's time, or size related.

Also, I doubt I could send you a 100+GB video file X_X

I was just curious if Bandicam will attempt to pass RGB ( or some form of YUV 4:4:4 ) frames to all VFW codecs in the new version, or only specific ones ?

The next version of Bandicam will allow you to use RGB as default in MagicYUV and Lagarith.

We don't have a plan for YUV444 at the moment.
We will consider it in the distant future.

Thank you for asking.

If you are selectively adding codecs in a whitelist style, could you add x264vfw to the RGB list ? It can handle RGB input frames and can also output compressed RGB.

Thanks for listening.

Hi Nyvoren,

We may not support the function you asked for because the performance of YV12 is better than RGB.
