Connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI port of your PlayStation and your capture card as shown below:The HDMI port of what? I assume it meant the computer? But I don't have an HDMI port on my computer, only a USB port.
If you still can't see the capture card on Bandicam, please install a suitable device driver from elgato.comthe device recording mode of Bandicam wasn't showing up.
I believe the Elgato Recording devices only work with the Elgato Capture Software. They don't seem have proper DIrectshow drivers, to expose the device to Bandicam. At least, I could never get Bandicam to pick up my old Elgato HD.Hi. Has anyone been able to record their playstation footage using Bandicam? If so, I really wish you would give a dunce like me really good instructions how to do that. I tried using the directions on the Bandicam site, but it didn't work. Here is what I did: I first connected my playstation to my Tv using the HDMI cable. Now, the first step says to connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI port. The HDMI port of what? I assume it meant the computer? But I don't have an HDMI port on my computer, only a USB port. So, I had to go buy a USB to HDMI adapter. So, I plugged the cord from my computer into the Elgato game capture device in the HDMI in slot. And that's basically all I did because that's all they said to do. I started the game capture device software, started Bandicam, but the device recording mode of Bandicam wasn't showing up. I'm at a loss. I spent a lot of money to ensure I could record through Bandicam, and now it looks like that was a wash. I don't know if this is important, but I have my playstation and computer all connected to the television screen. Help?
