Two Sound Mixing *checked* making video too quiet!

Mon Feb 06, 2012 12:04 pm

I noticed with Two Sound Mixing checked, the overall volume of the video is down by like half (I measured about 6db quieter in an audio editor). But if I uncheck it, everything's fine volume-wise but then I run into the *very* stuttery video bug (I will make a new topic on that one although I've seen it reported before). Fraps records both mixed in at the right levels. I would like Bandicam to have normal audio levels so I'm not too quiet on my videos. :) Thank you!

Hello,

If fraps can record both mixed in at the right levels, disable the 'Secondary sound device' of Bandicam

Hello,

Sorry for the wrong answer.
We misunderstood your question.

The volume of the video can't be down when you use the Two sound mixing option.

Which audio editing software do you use?
Can you send the sample file at bandicam@bandisoft.com?

You may send the video file through the storage service below:
- Dropbox (2GB~): http://www.dropbox.com/
- The free account can upload up to 2GB or higher. (Files uploaded to Dropbox via the desktop application have no file size limit.)

Two Sound Mixing is definitely noticably quieter for me! I sent the demonstration video to your email. I used the volume meters in Audacity to measure the difference.

Was this ever resolved? I'm having the exact same issue. The volume SOUNDS fine when played back in TheKMPlayer (or maybe it's compensated, based on codec?), but after running it through After Effects and uploading it to YouTube, it's really quiet. I'd say about half volume, like PrincessBridget described.

Hello PrincessBridget and Kakujo,

We fixed the bug you mentioned.

The new version will be released in a week.

Thank you for your report!
