"DirectX/OpenGL" Capture mode limits FPS to 4.

Fri Feb 24, 2012 10:20 am

Hello, when I record with the "DirectX/OpenGL" capture mode it limits my games to 4FPS. When using DXTory, a recording program similar to Bandicam, I don't have any drop in FPS. When I use a screen recorder of any type, I get around 12fps, this is the same with Bandicam.
Basically;
When I use DirectX/OpenGL capture my framerate is limited to 4FPS.
When I use Rectangle on a Screen, I get around 12fps.
My version is 1.7.6.178, I've tried reinstalling multiple times.
Is there anything I can do to stop it limiting my framerate? I've tried the following games:
Minecraft
Half-Life
Half-Life 2
Half-Life 2 Episode 1
Half-Life 2 Episode 2
and Portal
All of which where FRAPS gets around 50fps, I get 4fps.
I've used every quality setting possible.
Any help?

Hello!

The programs (Bandicam, Dxtroy, and Fraps) have a different recording method.
The FPS can be different depends on the system.

1. Use the latest version of Bandicam.
Your problem can be the SLI (Scalable Link Interface) problem, please use the latest version of Bandicam.

2. To get a higher FPS, reduce the video size, fps and video quality.
See http://www.bandicam.com/faqs/how_to_red ... recording/
