Recording Problem

Sat Feb 25, 2012 6:32 am

Hi, I have recently purchased Bandicam and have noticed that every time I put on Stereo Mix to record both game and mic, everyone in my Skype chat who I want to record speaking as well can hear my game sounds amplified. Btw I use XP. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello!

You should set "Stereo Mix" and "Microphone" volume of Windows, and use the Two Sound Mixing option of Bandicam

I've done that, but it makes everyone in my Skype hear a really loud echo. Any way to stop this?

Do you use a speaker or headset?

If you use the speaker, the speaker sound will be added in your microphone, and then you will have echo sounds.

We think you're using Microphone in Playback menu.

Go to Properties Windows, choose Playback icon, check Microphone, and then mute the Microphone volume

Now I my mic isn't on when I use stereo mix, so the problem is kind of fixed apart from that no-one can hear. Any other solutions?

There's really no solution to this, StereoMix sends what you hear to them, I've dealt with this problem in the past

but if you want to fix this problem, you'll need to upgrade to windows Vista or Windows 7, which handles multiple sound sources in separate mixers
