Device recording mode

Hello,
I apologize if there is already a topic on this but I couldn't find it.
I noticed there's a device recording mode on bandicam, soon I want to start making videos from my xbox one and ps4 so I did a little research and found that elgato game capture cards don't let you use bandicam with them as they have their own software but I really want to use bandicam.
It's noted here by bandisoft https://www.bandicam.com/how-to/video-capture/ that I can use a capture card but besides the elgato I'm not sure what else is out there.
Could someone please recommend some capture cards or tell me which one would be best to use with bandicam?
