Dear Ereshkigal,

Could you please send a dump file after it crashes?

Please refer to http://mywindowshub.com/how-to-configur ... s-on-bsod/ to make the dump file.

* Summary
1. Configure Windows settings to create Dump Files.
2. Start Bandicam and click/press the record button.
3. After it crashes, send the MEMORY.DMP file or Small Memory dump file to bandicam@bandisoft.com

That doesn't sound good at all...

Maybe it's a deeper problem with your system configuration.

I would suggest to run the windows integrity test (Integritätsüberprüfung).
It should be harmless, however, I've had even worse stuff happening to me by doing so. Luckily I was able to load a system restore point.
That's why I would suggest creating one (just search for "Wiederherstellungspunkt erstellen" in the start-menu-search)

To run the integrity test you have to open a command prompt with administrator rights (search for "cmd", right click it and select "Als Administrator ausführen") and type in

Code: Select all

sfc /scannow
If there are any problems, it will fix them.

This is likely not the source of your problems, but fixing windows is never a bad task. :D

I'm sorry that I explained things poorly. The computer does not BSoD. Instead, it goes into this sort of "loop" where Windows Explorer and the desktop repeatedly crash, restart, and then crash again. While a debugger is run that successfully found the error(paraphrased: and unhandled win32 exception) but the debugger itself crashes before it can be fixed.

You cannot use a debugger on Bandisoft's products.

I didn't think there was a BSoD.

Still that is nowhere near expected behavior and could be caused by a damaged program / service.

If it is not caused by a third-party software and (probably) not by a virus, where else is it supposedly coming from?

I'll get a video of what happens tomorrow.

Here is the video. I apologize in advance for the poor quality, since I had to record it on my phone. However, I'm sure you can still see what happens.

It's no wonder that doesn't work.

Bandicam has something builtin to block debuggers - as I said, you cannot use a debugger on Bandisoft's products.

The debugger runs automatically.

It does, once you click on debug ;)

Okay, that was a little silly of me  If I don't run the debugger, Bandicam simply closes. Of course, the fact that I can't record anything still remains.
