Failed to Capture Audio

I know this is a reoccurring problem with Bandicam, and it's one that pops up randomly for me. I have absolutely no idea why it keeps happening; all I know is every few updates it will stop working, then miraculously a few months later, will fix itself and start working again. However, I have been unable to use Bandicam since early this summer due to various issues. The one that always crops up, however, is the Failed to Start Audio Capture error. I've gone through the help page and tried everything. All my drivers are working and up to date. If I turn off record sound in Bandicam, it works (but is obviously silent). For the life of me, I have no idea what's happening.

I'm running Windows 10 with an NVidia Geforce GTX 660 video card.

Hello maqqy96,

I've had a similar issue before with gaming utilities.

If there is a software running on your PC that alters your sound of any kind (e.g. audio enhancers), please try to close them (or kill the process via task manager) and try again.
