Perpetuum Online

Wed Mar 28, 2012 9:48 am

- Windows Version: Windows 7
- Bandicam version: 1.7.7.185
- Bandicam mode: 'DirectX/OpenGL window'
- Recording Target: game

I have a 5:4 monitor with a default resolution of 1280x1024, but I need to record my game footage as 1280x720 for 720p24 videos. For that, I usually run the games in windowed mode and resize the window to that exact size.

I recently tried to capture footage from the game Perpetuum Online, but Bandicam always records the full 1280x1024 monitor resolution, filling everything below 720 pixels with black and stretches that into 1280x720 instead.

The game graphics itself are 1280x720 in the 1280x1024 resolution and gets stretched as well. I tried recording at a set size of "1280x720" and at "Full size" in the options, with the same result.

Here is an example of the resulting video: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/614242/PerpetuumExample.avi

I was wondering if you could look into that and possibly get it capturing correctly in a future update, or have an idea what the problem could be? :)

Best Regards
