Sound recording not working

I am trying to use bandicam to record minecraft but the sound is not working. I have tried to set the primary sound device to record the primary sound capture driver, then tried to set it to the sound card and to stereo out instead of to microphone (which was the origional setting when I opened it) but it would always change back to (and record) microphone when I closed the selection window. I tried setting the primary sound device to the sound card directly, and then under settings chosing stereo out, but although it let me choose that It still recorded the microphone. I have set my secondary sound device to microphone, primary sound capture, sound card, and disabled, but it hasn't changed anything. (If i was unclear, I am trying to record system sounds and a microphone.) Any information that could fix this problem is appreciated.

If you use Windows XP, you have to set "Stereo Mix"

That is the problem, I CAN'T set to stereo mix. If you need more info let me know.

1. Just a few sound cards don't support Stereo Mix.
If you can't find Stereo Mix (or 'Mixed output', 'Post-mix', 'Loop back', 'SUM' and the like), so you can't record computer sounds

2. Install the proper sound card driver.
If you installed a wrong sound card driver, you can't find Stereo Mix

3. Make sure that you clicked the Recording radio icon of Properties.
Some people click "Playback" radio icon to find the Stereo Mix

Hi frizbee2, you can use the following settings -

1. Many sound cards don't support Stereo Mix, check the sound card.
2. Install the sound card driver related to sound card.
3. Make sure that you clicked the recording radio icon of properties.
4. Check it !!
