External HDD w Bandicam, Issues!

Fri Jun 23, 2017 6:01 pm

Lately I've had issues with my external (USB) hard drive, specifically, I'm unable to safely eject it. The layman's process of elimination has identified Bandicam as the cause, since I have it configured to record directly to that drive. It appears that, even after Bandicam is closed, it's creating constant activity on the drive so that I'm unable to safely eject it. If I unplug it anyway, I get a blue screen. If I shut down, unplug the drive, then start up, I get a blue screen. So the only way to safely eject the drive after making my recordings is to shut down, start up, and THEN safely eject the drive.

Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? Please help.

Hello skunktronix,

Normally, Bandicam is closed when the recording is finished.
Please note that there is a possibility that the recorded file is occupied by some process such as the Windows Explorer or a media player.

Thank you.
