internal sound recording

Tue May 10, 2011 6:51 pm

Hi...
When recording videos, it only records via the build in microphone, but not the soundtrack of the video.
Is there a certain setting I have to change? Can I switch between both?
Thanks

Hi FreeMaverix.

Are you using a sound card or onboard sound?

Make sure "Stereo Mix" is enabled and mute the microphone because it will record both.

Thank you Psyoletic,

See the FAQ to solve the sound problem.

@Psyoletic

Thanks !

I am using a netbook with XP with integrated soundcard.
And all settings are as You mentioned

Any further suggestions?

I also installed it on another netbook with Win7 and there it worked fine.
Only exception, it does not record the picture from a video in WinMedia Player,
it's all black, but records its sound.

Thanks

Hello FreeMaverix,

The reason for the black screen of Windows Media player is the "video acceleration function (Overlay output)".

Start Bandicam before the Window Media player, Bandicam will shut off the "video acceleration function (Overlay output)" when recording.
