HEVC and Magix Vegas

Mon Sep 11, 2017 10:45 pm

Hi there. I'm having issues with Bandicam HEVC files not opening with Magix Vegas.

Magix Vegas definitely does support HEVC files since I believe 14.0. They are now on 15.0 and files still work fine.

Mirillis Action!'s HEVC video files open perfectly on Vegas with no issues.

It seems that both of your products are missing something that I want.
For Action, they're missing bitrate features.
For Bandicam, you're missing HEVC compatibility with Magix Vegas.

Please let me know if this issue is being worked on. Should Action! update their bitrate selector, I'll be purchasing with them!

Thank you~

Edit: Action! also has a replay buffer feature that has been a requested feature for bandicam since 2012. 5 years later I guess Bandicam couldn't pull through with that request, so I don't have much hope on this issue.

I'd also like to add that saving the video at 60fps produces a half-second glitch in the video file. Please have your development team look at this as well.

Thank you,

Could you tell us how to recreate the issue?

Thank you.

Hi,

You are sorry, ok, and now? 2 years later, in 2019, Vegas Pro 17, Bandicam 4.4.3.1557... do your development team plan to fix it one day?

I was considering buying bandicam but since I can not import it into any NLE to benefit from the hevc, I will not buy it.
