Non activated Win10 - H264 GPU codec.

Fri Oct 20, 2017 10:35 pm

I had problems with bandicam in the past. This is the last question which I wanted to ask: does it matter for bandicam H264 GPU codec if windows are not activated? Will I have same problem with activated and not activated win10 in terms of not showing my GPU H264 AMD codec? Tnx.

EDIT:

Nevermind, I did activate win10, I did get latest version of program. I do have last AMD drivers, still no GPU H264 codec. Tnx anyway. I think I have idea what to do next. ;)

Hello Jarrus,

Please refer to the following page regarding the H264(AMD APP) codec.

I did follow this instruction for 999 999 times at least, it's not working. Now I'm trying to why, and I follow my own path, 'couse bandicam mail replies are not that much of a help. And forum and automatic forms also not.

So ... non-activated free Win10 is not a problem.
My next thought is: ReLive. I'm sure that are chances with AMD ReLive installed, Bandicam won't find codec 'couse ReLive is using it. Can this be true?

Hello Jarrus,

Thank you for getting back to us.
It is possible for us to use H264(AMD APP) even if AMD ReLive is installed.

Please download "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)" and "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64)", and try it again.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... px?id=5555
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... x?id=14632

Please note that you must install 2 programs (x86 and x64) from the links above.

Thank you.

Tnx for update and reply Bandi. :)

In meantime I did try to install and uninstall AMD ReLive, still no AMD GPU H264 with or withour ReLive installed. So that's not problem.

Will try install this two links in next 10 minutes, so I will keep U updated.

And another cool theory which came to my mind is this:

ibb.co/ cBYAAw

Photo of bandicam settings.

Is it possible that this is just grammar mistake in program? I have "theory".

When in the passed I used older bandicam version, there were just H264 AMD GPU codec, no CPU existed at that time. I remember that 100%.

Now, with new versions, is it possible, since bandicam is CPU encording program, that it uses codec by GPU, and still encodes in CPU, and that's why is CPU? Can that be true?

Anyway, will try this two links now. Tnx.

EDIT:

IT WORKS!!!

Tnx Bandi, you can have coupe of beers on my check.
It works!!!

Thank you sooo much!!

EDIT2:

Just wanted to ask something which got me in mind.

Since it's GPU H264 ... can it have audio delay or?
I had lot of problems with ReLive audio delay.
Can that be the case with Bandi?
What to do when it comes to that? Tnx.

Hello Jarrus,

Thank you for the update.
We are glad to hear that you are able to use the AMD APP(H264) codec now.

Regarding the question about the audio delay, which media player do you use?

We look forward to your reply.
Thank you.

I ask this just in case if it happends.
When I use higher quality audio and facecam window, on AMD ReLive, I can get audio delay/desync in long footages, like 20ish minutes long. Player doesn't matter.
I wanted to know, what to do if I get that with Bandicam GPU codec?

And another question which comes to my mind.
Headset microphone/studio condenser microphone. How to get sound in bandicam footage, but with using noise gate in audio program to remove static noise from microphone. Any guide page / setup page / article about that?

Tnx.

Hello Jarrus,

We recommend you not use the ReLive function when recording with Bandicam because using ReLive might cause an audio video sync issue, a lagging issue or a codec conflict.

Please refer to the following link regarding the microphone noise issue.

Thank you.

Just wanted to ask one more thing, the last thing, I promise. XD

When I use H264 GPU, game laggs as f**k, even if red FPS button says 58-61 fps all the time. But gameplay is laggy. When I finish record and stop record, and watch video in media player after; everything is ok.

Am I hallucinating or?
