Canon DSLR, HDMI, and Bandicam

Hi,

I can't figure this out.

I have a brand new HDMI cable connected to my Canon 80d but Bandicam is not detecting it as a camera. Any possible solutions or suggestions? The wi-fi on the camera is turned off, and it has the latest firmware installed. I am trying to use the camera to record instead of a webcam.
