Max Payne 3 video capture problem

Sun Jun 10, 2012 7:29 am

I have Max payne 3 Retail version with Social Club. Because of it's incompatibility with fraps i tried Bandicam but something is not right. When i capture video in 1920x1080px i got something like this:
http://youtu.be/pv9Gk9GL5xY

My computer spec:
i7 2,6Ghz
6BG Ram
Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition 2GB

Video settings in the game is not max out.

Can you help me with this? I look for good fraps alternative and if you help me i probably buy your app.

Hi,

1. We had the same problem in the old version of Bandicam.
- Please use the latest version of Bandicam (1.8.0) from http://www.bandicam.com/downloads/

2. If you still have the same problem, go to FPS tab, and uncheck "Overlay FPS"

There is a patch released by Rockstar that states it should help video stuttering:

Hope that helps you!

That video was taken after patch was released. Update agent automatically installed it.

Try these tips to help with recording (Bandicam Forum Thread), especially disabling Anti-Aliasing and Vertical Sync with MP-3:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=737

Also, with Bandicam (if using it is the only time this happens to you) try using MJPEG instead of MPEG-1 for recording, I find some games perform better while recording in one or the other.

After viewing your video, it seems to be more game/driver related. A quick search on the net found that a lot of people are having stuttering problems with that game, even after the patch - especially NVIDIA users.

Good luck with it, hope it works out for you!

Hello Utokak,

We are sorry but we are not quite sure what you are asking. Could you be specific?

Thank you.
