Fallout 76 -- Bandicam Does Not Work :(

Hello 
Just tried recording the intro and first few minutes of gameplay in Fallout 76 Beta using bandicam on a Windows 10 box running 4K resolution with dual sli (1080ti) -- 64gb memory etc..
FPS shows up in the Bethesda launcher menu but NOT the game (using Gaming recording mode), and in full screen mode FPS still does not show up
... using full screen mode, it will record the initial entry into fallout 76, but the rest of the recording is black screen only (but it does record audio)
