Whenever I try to record a video with my mic turned on, the sound crackles and scrambles, resulting in the audio being completely impossible to listen to. It usually happens while I'm recording a video that I have already recorded. Sometimes I'll make videos of previous recordings but add commentary with my mic.

Please try the solution below:

Go to the Recording tab, double-click "Microphone," click the Levels tab, and then uncheck the "Listen to this device."
