Stops recording when PowerPoint goes full screen

Hello,

When I'm connected to an external display (audio & video) I've found that Bandicam stops recording the moment I click "start slide show" in PowerPoint. I've been able to repeat this multiple times. This doesn't happen when I am not connected to an external display, just on my laptop screen. I have an NVideo GPU and NVENC selected (with VBR) for my capture format. Please help!

Thanks

Hello eraskkkkk,

Do you use the full screen recording function of the Screen Recording Mode?
Do you get an error message when Bandicam stops?

We look forward to your reply.

Thank you.

Yes, fullscreen mode, and no error... just stops.

Hello eraskkkkk,

Thank you for getting back to us.
Unfortunately, we were not able to recreate your issue with your settings when we used a laptop and an external display which is connected by an HDMI cable.
Do you have the same issue when you choose another codec such as Xvid or H264(CPU)?
Could you please attach the screenshot of the Windows display settings?
Also, please let us know your PowerPoint version and slide show settings.

Thank you.

Hi again, I have 2 GPUs on my laptop (GeFroce 1060 and integrated graphics) and I think that could be the problem. It's taking me time to figure out as I can't quickly test with that external display but I'll le you know when I can try out a few things.

Hello eraskkkkk,

Thank you for your update.
Actually, the system we tested also has 2 GPUs like yours.
We will try to recreate your issue again once we receive additional information from you.

Thank you.
