Need help with multiplayer gameplay recording

Sat Mar 23, 2019 2:47 am

Hi, first post here. My son and I play War Thunder together, and as squad mates we like to record our gameplay. We've used Bandicam in the past but I don't think we've got things set up right. Our goal is to have the game video/audio recorded, as well as both of our voices during the game play.

Our current setups are as follows:
Me: HP Envy laptop. Video and audio outputs on secondary larger monitor with built-in speakers. Back of monitor has a jack for headphones, and a jack for "audio in" which I assume is for a microphone. Laptop itself has a single jack for headphone/microphone.
Son: Lenovo laptop with single jack for headphone/microphone. No other monitor.

We both have Astro A10 headsets. We both have Bandicam and War Thunder on our laptops.

I'm not sure what settings I should be using in Bandicam, or War Thunder for that matter, to be able to talk to and hear each other during gameplay.

Thanks for your help.

Hello BigBoreBrian,

Please refer to the following instructions first.

If you still have the issue, please attach the screenshots of Bandicam Recording settings window and Windows Sound settings window.

Thank you.
