bandicam lag

whenever i record with bandicam i get lag
I have a outdated pc but i still am well above the recommended requirements
Intel E5700 Core 2 Duo
2 GB Ram
Intel G41( X4500)
any help? It happens when i am recording

When you go into the Video -> Format -> Settings, could you look up which Codec you have currently choosen?.

Which mode do you use and what is your recording target?
Do you have the lagging issue with a specific target?
Please attach the screenshot of your format settings window.
