Bandicam Problem

Sun May 19, 2019 4:16 am

Hi there,

I bought both Bandicam and Bandicut but there is one thing in Bandicam that is bothering me and eneded up being really tiresome. Sometimes when I record a bunch of videos, the first video I record shows "60 fps" on the counter while I record it, but actually ends up having 45 frames in it's first seconds when I play it. So there is clearly a problem with the recording fps counter and the real video fps. Other programs don't have this error, you record what you see. Not record what you believe in.

Please fix that. I hate recording 10 videos and after weeks realizing video 1/10 is having framerate problems, although it displayed "60 fps" while recording. Forced to record again multiple times because of software program failure is not fun.

Thx and greets

Before I bought Bandicam I used FRAPs and never encountered this kind of problem. And FRAPs is much more resource intensive on the system than Bandicam but managed to make it without problems :((

Hi there,

thx for the reply.

Windows 10
i7-3770K
GTX 1080 (driver 425.31)

And I recorded 8 videos again today and since I am checking every video now directly after recording, it happened again after recording the first video after opening the program (Bandicam displayed 60fps while recording, first 20 seconds of video were actually 40-55 fps).

Then I recorded the same video a second time and it was 60fps from the get go. It's clearly the program and not my system.

Caveat:
The game (input source) running at 60 FPS doesn't mean the recording (mainly the encoding) is running at 60 FPS.

2 major bottlenecks: Processing, I/O.
