Not enough disk space to record

Hello! I've been using Bandicam to record games for about a year now with absolutely no problems. I just bought the new Halo game and when I try to record it, Bandicam gives me an error message saying, "Not enough disk space to record". I have over 1TB of free space, and tried to record other games and they all work fine. It's just Halo for some reason.

I tried updating Bandicam and reinstalling it. I also tried going into the settings and enabled "Windows Apps (UWP)" and that didn't help either. Still get the same message. Is there anything else I can do?

Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: I also made sure the output was going into the drive with the free space.

Hello kylerieti,

For further investigation, please get back to us with the information below.
Could you please tell us the name of the Halo game?
Did you download it from Microsoft Store?

Thank you.

Hi! The game is "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" and yes I did get it from the Microsoft Store.

For some extra information, after I posted this, I asked a friend of mine who downloaded it from Steam, to download Bandicam and try to record. It worked perfectly fine for him, so I'm guessing it has something to do with games from the Microsoft Store. I wish I could test more, but that's the only game I have from there.

I don't want to get it from Steam because I would have to buy it again, and if I use the game from the Microsoft Store, I can share the same account with my consoles, which is kind of important for me. Thank you for the response!

Hello kylerieti,

Thank you for your quick response and additional information.
We’ve downloaded Halo Wars 2 Demo from Microsoft Store and tested it with no problems.
We would appreciate if you could test with the demo version and let us know your result.

Thank you.

Sorry it took me a while to get back to you. I just downloaded it and tried it out. Everything works for me as well, no issues.

Hello kylerieti,

Thank you for getting back to us.
Do you mean you have no issues with "Halo Wars 2 Demo" but still have the issue with "Halo: The Master Chief Collection"?

Thank you.

Hello kylerieti,

Thank you for your update.

Which codec did you use to record it?
Could you please let us know if you have the same issue with the H264(CPU) codec in both AVI and MP4 containers?

Thank you.

Same issue, except when I switched it to AVI, I received two messages. "Not enough disk space to record" and "Failed to start audio capture". So it's the same problem.

Hello kylerieti,

Thank you for your feedback.
Could you please change the output folder and check if you have the same issue?
We are afraid that we don't have any good solutions for this issue at this moment. We will forward this issue to our development team after we receive your reply.

Thank you.
