Voice over wont play

Mon Jun 13, 2011 4:27 pm

Yes, I recorded gameplay footage of fallout New Vegas. Along with a voice over that I set up in Brandicam itself, yet for some odd reason, it will play normally in the video itself, but when I put the exact same file in a video editor, it will play the normal game audio, but not the voice over. Any help?

Hello,

This is Zun from Bandicam.

I don't fully understand what you're talking about.

1. To edit the recorded streaming video in Sony Vegas,
Click "Presets" button under the Video tab of Bandicam, and then choose 'For Edit - Premiere/sony vegas' option.
See http://www.bandicam.com/faqs/how_to_edi ... ing_video/

2. If there is no sound for the captured streaming video in Windows XP, it's usually the "stereo mix" setting problem.
See http://www.bandicam.com/faqs/no_sound_r ... x_problem/

If you still have the same problem with my solution, give me a detail information and send your sample video file at bandicam@bandisoft.com

Thank you for using Bandicam.

And i saw the Presets thing, but that wont change the videos i have already recorded right?

Dear NisseH,

This is Zun from Bandisoft.

I think you're using 'Secondary sound device'. (Disable your secondary device to solve your problem)
'Secondary sound device' is used for a special purpose like Skype recording

You don't have to use 'secondary sound device' for a normal recording.
- If you use Windows XP, 'STEREO MIX' setting is enough .
- If you use Window 7/Vista, 'Win7 sound (WASAPI)' setting is enough.

We will improve the 'secondary sound device' recording.

Best Regards,
Zun

If I have the secondary input off, will it still record my voice-over from the microphone?

In most cases, you can record your voice-over from the microphone without secondary input.
(A few sound cards don't support it).
