Latest version gives primary audio as 48 khz/16 bit

Fri Jan 15, 2021 9:20 am

Hi Bandicam,

I have noticed something I am not quite happy with. I upgraded to the latest version in hope that it would give me some additional benefits, but in stead I discovered that the new version gives me Game/primary audio as 48 khz/16 bit, even though my soundcard (Focusrite Scarlett 2i2) is set for 96 khz/24 bit, when I output to separate files. Strangely enough, the sound from my microphone (also the Scarlett) is correctly in 96 khz/32 bit. Also, in the new version I am missing the Quicksync option.
In order to get the correct sound and quicksync back,I had to downgrade to build 1673.

Any news on giving us 24 bit audio when using the PCM option with avi files?

Sincerly,
Michael Hansen

Hello mfhansen82,

We have already forwarded your request to our development team.
However, we are afraid that we don't have any news regarding PCM audio at this moment.

Regarding your Intel QuickSync Video issue, we were not able to recreate your issue.
Please refer to the following FAQ page.

Thank you.
