Question? Bandicam 32/16 bit difference

Sun Jan 17, 2021 4:40 am

I have yet another question that puzzles me.

When I select to output my audio from my Scarlett 2i2 in stereo, I get a 32 bit audio file. When I select to output in mono, I get a 16 bit file? Why does it change the number of bits depending on the channels? I would expect a 32 bit file, whether I am recording in stereo or mono. Is this a bug?

Sincerely,
Michael Hansen

HI Bandicam,

This was a problem with an earlier version of Bandicam, which I discovered yesterday. Version 5.0.0 1769 doesn't have that problem. The 48khz/16 bit problem with 1799 does seem to persist, though.

Sincerly,
Michael Hansen
