Webcam not working

I keep getting the "failed to initialize the video capture device" error on my logitech webcam and my webcam that is built into my laptop. Neither will work. I have updated drivers, i have updated bandicam, updated my laptop, made sure i have all the settings correct as shown on the help screen and none of it is working. HELP!

Please get back to us with the information below.

1. What is your webcam model?
2. Please attach the screenshot of your format settings window of Bandicam. Do you have the same issue when you select another format?
3. Please attach a screenshot of the webcam settings window of Bandicam. Do you have the same issue when you select another format and resolution on the webcam format selection window?
4. What is your recording target? Do you use the Screen Recording Mode or Game Recording Mode?

Hello Rileycraft06,

Thank you for getting back to us.
We've confirmed that you are trying to use the webcam device as the recording target for Device Recording Mode and the webcam overlay function at the same time.
The webcam device is able to be used for only one function.
You can use the webcam overlay function with the Game Recording Mode.

Ok. I tried game recording mode and the exact same thing is happening.

Same problem on both modes, trying to record at geometry dash.

Hello Rileycraft06,

Thank you for your feedback.

Please uninstall and reinstall the webcam driver and try recording again.
If it does not work, please check if you have the same issue with the other formats and resolutions on the webcam settings.

Hi, I have the same problem as Rileycraft06. My Laptop model Notebook HP – 15-bw019nc web cam HP TrueVision HD.
Geometry dash and any games web cam not working (not inicializing)
I am reinstal driver on webcam and GPU card and still nothing.

In skype and webcam utilities cam working.

I think (but only think) problem is on PiP . Bandicam does not want to insert webcam to game.

Help me please?

to @Rileycraft06: still have problem with your webcam? Or have you fix?

Edit 3.1.18: i have small fix. (but not full fix) I have 2 GPU (integration and dedical) my update driver on GPU using almost all time dedical GPU but bandicam working (with inicializing webcam) only on integration GPU.
I returnet old driver on GPU (old driver mixed using integration and dedical GPU), but bandicam working on less power (integration) GPU :-(
