Hi,
I'm a teacher, and I set up bandicam on 9 computers this morning for my kids. They were filming in Minecraft. I checked, tested, and rechecked all of the settings and everything was fine. I watched them record and they were using the program correctly. I watched them, right in front of me, review their files to see that indeed they had video and sound. I copied the files onto my thumbdrive and tried to play them on another computer, running the same image of the same operating system, and the video is present, but the sound is not. The clip starts with some garbled squawks and chirps, then goes silent. I have my volume up very loud (using a 5.1 system w/ a subwoofer, so it's not that).
Has anyone else run into this problem? I hope the kids can still hear the files on their computers so they can piece them together into their movie, but my fear is that the sound is gone. I'm going to try a different movie player perhaps, or update the one I have, but it should be pretty recent. Any help is appreciated.
