Record DAW sound and microphone

Hello everyone I don't know how to set this up so I came here.

I record music with REAPER right? I use a USB soundcard which has ASIO4ALL drivers to decrease latency.

Now, what I'd like to do is record both the sound that comes out from my soundcard but also the mic that I plug in my soundcard.

I've tried a couple of times but it seems it only records the mic but not the DAW...

I'm quite new to this so I'm not sure if I'm explaining it well, I'd appreciate any advice really

Hi,

1. Why don't you record the computer sound without using REAPER?

If you check the "Save audio tracks while recording (.wav)" option, the audio will be saved separately as a .wav file. (No. 2)



2. Do you use Windows XP, or VISTA/7/8?
