Re: Latest Windows update (1803) issue

Thank you very much for your answer.

Today, after installing the newest NVIDIA-Driver, the problem got solved. They have released a driver for the 1803 update a few days ago and I still had the previous driver installed.

Sooo... case closed :)

Latest Windows update (1803) issue

Hello dear people at Bandicam,

since the last Windows update it is no longer possible to record Civilization VI. It may be other DX12 Games are affected as well.

Bandicam can not hook to these games anymore. The FPS counter does not show up in these games anymore.

Re: Bandicam still not using 64bit Codec MagicYUV

Simply for performance and because where not in 2005 anymore ;)

Dxtory always uses the 64bit variant of the codec, regardless of the recorded application. I don't see why Bandicam could not do the same.

Bandicam still not using 64bit Codec MagicYUV

Hello,

unfortunately Bandicam, to this date, still uses the 32bit Codec variant of MagicYUV instead of the 64bit version. Would be nice if this could get fixed in the next update.

Allow for new Positions of FPS-Overlay

Hello dear people at Bandicam, I would like to request new positions for the FPS-Overlay. Sometimes the corners of the screen are not ideal for the Overlay. To deactivate it is also not possible to users with only one screen as they can not be sure wether recording is on or not. Please see the inclu...

Re: Extracting Audio takes AGES

Extracting the audio is a lot quicker now.
It is not quite as fast as I am used by other products but improved a lot.

For me it is sufficient. Thank you for fixing!

Re: Extracting Audio takes AGES

Hello and thank you very much for getting back to me. Good to know that you have acknowledged the issue. Makes me hope for a fix :) On a sidenote, when using the option to "Save audio tracks while recording" the saved tracks have different filesizes and also different bit-depths. This shou...

To be honest, the original "current" is more specific and better suited in most cases.

Re: Extracting Audio takes AGES

Hello, i do not wish to extract the audio as mp3. I extract the audio as wav. This is needed to be able to do post processing of my voice. The problem is general, because either extracting audio via Virtualdub or working with the raw recording via Movie Studio takes long. I do not extract the audio ...

Re: Extracting Audio takes AGES

To supply more information I have recorded the same game for exactly 5 seconds with the same codec (MagicYUV) and autiosettings with either Bandicam and Dxtory. I then inspected the encoding Details with MediaInfo. Here is the screenshot of the comparison: https://i.imgur.com/tqJ6Ew7.png Bandicam is...

Extracting Audio takes AGES

Hello dear Bandicam-Team, I record using PCM 48KHz, stereo as Audiosetting. After recording tha raw video I need to extract the audio-streams (track 1 being the game sound and track 2 being my voice). Now the thing is, that extracting the audio takes AGES, really it takes just damn long. About 6-8 m...

Re: MagicYUV codec problems

I have found out, that it is not only a problem with MagicYUV. I have the same problems occur with UTVideo Codec. Attached is the crashdump from VirtualDub accessing the 148GB file recorded with Bandicam. Note the error occurs when accesing the first frame (0). Obviously the Bandicam Encoder garbles...

Re: MagicYUV codec problems

I can confirm that files above ~120 GB are corrupted and are not readable by VirtualDub (to extract Audio Streams) or Sony Movie Studio. This is the main reason why I had to switch over to Dxtory, because my recordings end up at around 80 - 150GB mostly. Doing an automated split is not an option as ...

Feature Request: Split Files while recording

Hello dear people at Bandisoft, Let me first say: I know there is the option to stop recording and start a new file when a specified event triggers (file size, recordingtime). I mainly record videos around 20-25 minutes, but file size can really get out of hand depending on the material i record.......
